Shakira recently posted a picture, in her instagram account, of her in a bikini and let me tell you she looks great!
How does this mom, singer and philanthropist manage to stay so fit at the prime age of 43 years old?
I decided to do some digging around and and this is what I found.
Shakira gives credit to her personal trainer, Anna Kaiser, for helping her get in shape.
Anna Kaiser is Shakira’s personal trainer and founder of a danced based fitness studio, named AKT. Anna Kaiser has been Shakira’s personal trainer for over 10 years now.
During these 10 years, Anna has been helping Shakira stay in shape so she can withstand the grueling demands of her world music tours.
Anna recently helped Shakira get in shape for the now famous Super Bowl half time show where she performed with JLo.
The video of her showcasing her fit body and shaking her hips at the half time show has gone viral on YouTube. Everyone was talking about this show for weeks.
In recent interviews with People, NY Post and E. News, Anna revealed that Shakira’s workout regimen consists of dance based interval training for cardio and body toning exercises for strength.
Anna also added that when she trains Shakira she likes to mix things up. For example, some days they do cardio and then strengthen training and other days they start with strengthen training and then go right into cardio.
Anna also mentions that she likes to focus a lot on building up Shakira’s endurance so that way she can perform in her two-hour shows with no problem and also have the strength and stamina to take on the demands of her 5 month tours.
Anna reveals that when it comes to reaching your fitness goals it really comes down to two things; consistency and commitment, which is something that Shakira has plenty of.
Since Shakira has a busy family and entertainment life, Anna also does a lot of FaceTime with Shakira to help her stay consistent with her workouts.
The other component that helps shakira stay in such great shape is her diet.
According to her personal training, Shakira’s diet consists of clean eating, which means little to no sugar, no dairy and a balanced meal with lots of vegetables and fish.
“She eats small meals through out the day to keep her energy up” says Shakira’s trainer.
So there you have it folks. Shakira’s workout plan revealed.
I know a lot of people are probably saying, “but she’s a millionaire who can afford the best personal trainer that money can buy to help her get in shape. I don’t have that luxury.“
Good point, but that’s not completely true.
Getting in shape is more then just having a lot money to hire a personal trainer.
While Shakira does have the money to hire the best personal trainer that money can buy, she also has two things that money can’t buy and that’s being consistent and committed to reaching her fitness goals.
Anna also shares in those interviews that Shakira is a hard worker and when she commits to something she will MAKE IT HAPPEN!
You see without consistency and commitment, no matter how much money you have, you won’t be able to reach your fitness goals.
I have trained many clients who are not millionaires but have reached their fitness goals because they were committed and consistent in their quest for a healthier and fit body.
So don’t let not having millions of dollars stop you from reaching your fitness goals.

One positive thing that has come out of this pandemic is the popularity of virtual fitness classes. Everyone is working out at home.
