A friend of mine once told me that she wanted to get in shape but didn’t like going to the gym because it was intimidating and boring to her.
I told her that she should try Zumba Fitness because Zumba is exciting, not intimidating and best of all it helps you burn tons of calories all while having a blast.
She took my advice and joined a Zumba Fitness class a few days later.
What did she think about the class?
She absolutely loved it!
She said it was the most fun she ever had while working out.
And not only did she have a lot fun, but she also got a great workout.
A study conducted by researchers from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse’s Department of Exercise and Sport Science found that participating in a single Zumba Fitness class burned an average of 369 calories. “It’s a total body, high energy workout”, explains one of the researchers.
Zumba Fitness may feel like a party, but this research suggests that it’s also a highly effective workout. See more details of this study here.
My friend wasn’t the only one who fell in love with Zumba Fitness the first time she tried it.
Many of my clients have also had the same reaction.
Below are some of the reasons why people all over the world are falling in love with Zumba Fitness:
YOU’LL GET HOOKED
You definitely won’t get bored doing Zumba Fitness. As soon as the class starts and you start hearing the high energy, Latin inspired music, you’re hooked.
Just like the other women there, you’ll start moving your feet and body to the rhythm of the music. And guess what, you won’t have to worry about what other people are thinking about you because no one is there to judge. Every one is there to have fun.
You learn the moves at your pace. You just follow the instructor and eventually you’ll do the moves without even thinking about them.
THERE IS NO WASTE OF TIME WITH ZUMBA FITNESS
How many times have you been to the gym and instead of working out you found yourself seating in one of the exercise machines playing on your cell phone?
This won’t happen in a Zumba Fitness class.
For 45 minutes to an hour, you’ll be shaking your hips, moving your feet, burning calories and building endurance.
There is no temptation to get your cell phone out and waste valuable time.
Every minute spent in a Zumba Fitness class is wisely spent.
